The mission of Art & Soul is to inspire and equip youth to build a sense of confidence and wellness through active engagement in art and design.
Our Plan
At Art & Soul we hope to cultivate young minds by providing exposure to the power of artistic expression with hands on interaction and experience. Displaying students artwork promotes a sense of pride and accomplishment as young artists.
Our Method
Hundred of thousands of youth throughout the U.S. have no creative outlet. With current budget cuts in low-income urban and rural schools, the first jobs to be eliminated are the art teachers. Youth are struggling to learn reading, math and sciences and apply them to the real world but in reality, they need a well-developed right side of their brain to think critically, creatively solve problems, and to express themselves. By providing materials and guided instruction we hope to bring the power and inspiration of art to the areas that need it most. schools and areas that may otherwise lack
Our Team
Bradley J Ehrsam is a New York based artist who has run his own studio for 25 years. Bradley has worked with youth in the different cities where he has resided teaching artistic and creative expression. Bradley earned his Master's Degree in Fine Art & Public Practice from the Herron School of Art & Design with IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis). His focus was in Public Practice where he actively worked with charter schools in Indianapolis bringing enthusiastic and creative spirit into the classroom.
